Located at the northern end of the Harriman Trail, with over 25 miles of trails adjacent to the Lodge, Galena is the perfect place for a summer outing. During the summer months the outdoor shop is open daily from 9:30 AM to 4 PM. Rent a bike, grab a map and explore the Galena trail system. When you get back you can relax and enjoy a meal outside on our deck. The restaurant is open for lunch Mondays � Fridays from 11:30- 3:30; weekend brunch menu on Saturdays and
Sundays from 10:30-3:30 and on Thursday Nights for our Wagon Ride Barbecues.

Dining
Situated at the Northern end of the Harriman trail and surrounded by biking and hiking trails, Galena offers a truly unique dining experience. Our staff prepares an incredible variety of home-cooked food. Relax and enjoy your meal in our rustic dining room or sit outside on the sun deck.
Galena is also available for private rental and is the perfect place to host reunions, parties, dinners and receptions. Relax and leave everything to our talented and friendly staff.
Lunch: Galena is open for lunch Monday through Friday from 11:30 to 3:30.
Weekend Brunch: Saturday and Sunday Brunch is served from 10:30-3:30 and features both breakfast and lunch items as well as fresh baked pastries, cookies and brownies. Live music by Bruce Innes on Sundays at 11:00 am.

Thursday BBQ Buffet Dinners & Wagon Rides: Gather up the family for dinner at our barbecue buffet. Then you can opt to take a wagon ride and learn a bit about the unique history of the old mining town of Galena from the Galena Stage Stop Corral�s knowledgeable cowboys. Please call 726-4010 for reservations.

Private Parties: Considering Galena Lodge for your group gathering? The beautiful surroundings and historic lodge are only a small part of what will make your event special. We offer several different catering formats and work with you to personalize your evening. Weddings: Take a stroll around Galena. Located within walking distance, Senate Meadows provides a dramatic site for your wedding ceremony. Picture beautiful wide open meadows (complete with wildflowers if you�re lucky) with a backdrop of Galena Peak and the Boulder Mountains. Senate Creek serenades your guests with her beautiful melody. Perfect.
The Outdoor Shop: Open from 9:30 am to 4 pm daily, the shop at Galena offers mountain bike rentals and a selection of clothing for riding, hiking or just looking good while you�re out and about.

Youth Adventure Camps
Galena Youth Adventure Camp: A weekly summer outdoor discovery and adventure program at Galena Lodge for youth ages 8-12. Our program develops lifelong skills through action-based adventures with an emphasis on fun, safety, and a respect for the outdoors.
During their week at Galena campers will; make new friends, mountain bike, horseback ride, white water raft, rock climb, canoe/kayak, swim at a local hot springs, explore Senate & Gladiator Meadows and streams, learn wilderness first aid, develop map reading skills, learn about low-impact use of the backcountry, play capture the flag, do campfire skits, make S�mores, and spend a night in a yurt!

Trails
Hiking at Galena: The trails around Galena are easily accessible and lead into some of the most spectacular country on the planet. Whether you choose the ridge lines or the meadows, nature lures you deeper and further into the vast road-less area. From a relaxing stroll through Senate meadow to an all day ascent of Galena peak, you can take no wrong turn. Come and enjoy the hiking trails around Galena.
Biking at Galena: Whether you are a first time mountain biker or a seasoned rider, the trails at Galena have something for everyone. Sample all types of mountain bike trails at Galena; from dirt forest roads to ski trails and single track challenges. Twenty five miles of trails wind past old mining sites and cabins, towering trees, fields of flowers, abundant wildlife and spectacular views of the Boulder and Smokey mountains.
The Harriman Trail: Recently completed, the Harriman trail provides a key transportation connection through the scenic corridor--linking the Sawtooth NRA headquarters on its south end to US Forest Service campgrounds, Easley Hot Springs and finally, the Galena Lodge at its northern terminus. The trail has been designed to accommodate wheelchair access, and invites a larger spectrum of recreationists to the upper Big Wood River Valley who might not venture into this landscape in the absence of a strong directional trail system. Along its eighteen mile course the Harriman trail rolls next to the Big Wood River, alternating through spacious meadows, Aspen stands and lodgepole forest, always with the majestic Boulder Mountain range as a scenic backdrop.
Horseback trail rides: Experience transportation Galena style, back when it was the largest town in the Wood River Valley. View the Boulder mountains from a different perspective--atop a horse. Trail rides at the Galena Stage Stop Corrals, located across the highway from Galena Lodge, are offered daily from late June through Labor Day.
